Rebel Presses - Resistance in Print During the Second World War
This fascinating display shines a light on the courageous groups who created and distributed newspapers, pamphlets and booklets during World War Two. By exhibiting the material they produced, it shows the important contributions they made to countering oppression.

James Appleby is the editor of Interpret, a new magazine of international writing.
Sophie Cooke writes novels, short stories, and poetry: her poems have previously appeared as film-poems and in magazines and anthologies.
David Kinloch is the author of six collections of poetry, the latest being Greengown: New and Selected Poems.
Medha Singh is a poet from Delhi, based in Edinburgh. Her poems have been published in numerous magazines and anthologies.

Hip Hop pioneer and 90's icon Betty Boo returns after 35 years to reclaim her place as pop star and Ivor Novello Award-winning singer-songwriter and rapper. The River Annick
Brand new quintet featuring Allan Wylie (trumpet), Graeme Wilson (tenor sax), Alan Benzie (piano & keyboards), Timmy Allan (bass) and Stuart Brown (drums). Their original material channels the restless dynamic and swirl of the late 60s Miles quintet, with effusive interaction across tight angular melodies and lush dreamscapes.
