Braw Cinema Club #79 presents
Phenomena (1985)
Dario Argento’s film features a trippy pre-Labyrinth performance from Jennifer Connolly and the always entertaining Donald Pleasance (as a Scot!). The plot sounds like some made up, ChatGPT nonsense - which is precisely why it's an absolute blast to watch. Dario really chucks the whole kitchen sink at this one - even throwing in a lovable, knife wielding chimpanzee, Inga! Total chaos!

TFEH presents
Marija Kovacevic + Free Magic Show + Ali Robertson
FEH goes for broke in the final chapter of their spring/summer programme for weirdo experimental sound enthusiasts….
MARIJA KOVACEVIC - Marija successfully cuts strings with her violin's classical past to get strung out on (and for) the free musics of the future with a sound world's worth of unexpected utterances.
FREE MAGIC SHOW - No-fidelity meanderings of Michał Fundowicz combines with fellow magician Joe Coghill's more tech-adept seasonings and whisks them into a dizzying scramble of cracked electronics, amplified objects & magnetic tape spool protein for a freshly baked fritatta of noise.
ALI ROBERTSON - While Firas Khnaisser recuparates after a season-length slog as one-half of the Tfeh house band Off Brand, his fellow non-idiomatic noodler exercises his solo performance muscles.
