She uses site-responsive methods in the development of practice and works produced as part of this take the form of provisional assemblages and installations.
Recent work has centered on semi-fictionialised subterranean realms, such as drainage infrastructure, burrows, or aquifers, with a focus on the movement of misbehaving materials, such as degreasing chemicals, insecticides or floral foam particles, through hidden flows and non-human communities.
Sinéad will use the residency to gather and arrange sculptural responses to her ongoing PhD research. This will result in a shifting installation where connections are formed through the movement and interaction of re-contextualised materials.

El Eco (2023) by Tatiana Huezo - Film and director Q&A
Join us for a screening of award-winning documentary El Eco by Mexican-Salvadoran director Tatiana Huezo followed by a recorded Q&A with Tatiana Huezo and informal film discussion.
In the remote village of El Eco that exists outside of time, the children care for the sheep and their elders. While the frost and drought punish the land, they learn to understand death, illness and love with each act, word, and silence of their parents.
A story about the echo of what clings to the soul, about the certainty of shelter provided by those around us, about rebellion and vertigo in the face of life. About growing up.
This delicate and immersive film won the 2023 Berlinale Documentary Award.
Cinetopia:DOC is a monthly doc club bringing audiences together to watch, discuss and connect around the documentary genre and craft. We screen exceptional documentary films alongside filmmaker Q&As or conversations as well as offer a space afterwards for continued discussion and networking in the Cameo bar.
